Summer Porch Visits mobilize community partners towards our common goal of boosting enrollment for the 2021-2022 academic year. Each family receives a phone call from a trusted community member and a visit to their front porch provides wraparound resources and critical academic materials.

Last year, Summer Porch Visits visited 1,000 homes to provide resources and promote enrollment. Community partners also delivered backpacks with grade-level appropriate instructional activities to students.

Read Fort Worth is looking for partners to participate by:

July 29 & 30

• Making phone calls to families to help determine when to visit and what resources are needed
  

August 2-6

• Delivering academic resources and materials to the homes of families in need

OR

• Donating toward the purchase of back-to-school activities which will be provided to students
