Fort Worth ISD Learning At Home

Fort Worth ISD Superintendent Kent Scribner announced that schools will remain closed and students will remain at home, receiving online instruction until further notice. Fort Worth ISD’s Learning at Home platform offers activities for students at each grade level – aligned with District resources such as Pearson, Achieve 3000, and Edgenuity, to name a few. These instructional resources are created by grade level to ensure Fort Worth ISD students are engaged in content that is age-appropriate as well as aligned to specific content. Parents, family members and other trusted adults can play an important role in helping children make sense of what is happening.

  • Remain calm and reassuring.

  • Make time to talk.

  • Avoid language that might blame others.

  • Pay attention to what children see or hear.

  • Provide information that is honest and accurate.
