Thank You, Read Fort Worth Volunteers!

Thank you to Read Fort Worth volunteers for all your work this summer! 

Read Fort Worth and community volunteers delivered more than 130,000 books to 84 Fort Worth ISD elementary schools over the summer as part of the Classroom Library Campaign. The campaign gives 100 books to every Pre-Kindergarten through second grade teacher for their classroom. Thank you to all of the volunteers that made it possible! Together with Read Fort Worth staff, community volunteers unpacked, labeled and organized the books. The Classroom Library Campaign will make it easier for students to read the books that they like throughout the school day.

This would not have been possible without their help,” said Read Fort Worth Executive Director Anel Mercado.
